How To Integrate Digital Marketing With Offline Strategies.

When online and offline marketing are coordinated, effective and consistent brand experiences can be created across every channel. Here’s a brief sketch of how you can do that:

  1. Establish Uniform Branding: Lead the messaging across both digital and offline assets. This will establish consistency, making it easier for people to identify your brand everywhere. This could be through social media, websites, emails, flyers, posters, business cards, and more. Having consistency in branding, messaging, tone, colors, and logos is crucial.
  2. Offline to Online Interaction: Redirect offline audiences to your online platforms. You can do this by attaching your website or landing page through QR codes on brochures and posters; showcasing social media handles on receipts or packaging, or holding offline events that have digital registration forms like sign-up or check-in.
  3. Advertise Offline Events Online: Use digital marketing to increase offline activities: Advertise in-store events through social media or email campaigns; run online countdowns or teaser videos prior to an event; and use Google or Facebook Ads to target your local audience.
  4. Use Exclusive Offers: Combine both tactics with loyalty programs or promotions. For instance, “Show this Instagram post in-store for 10% off” or “Scan your receipt online to win a prize”.
  5. Promote User-Generated Content: Convert offline experiences into digital content by asking customers to wear your product in selfies and tag you in them. Make branded hashtags for events or new product launches.
  6. Monitor and Assess Everything: Utilize tools to gauge the effect: Custom discount codes for both online and offline use (to determine conversion rates).
